Gobo Projection Warning Lights Installed at a Factory in the Netherlands

2026-10-30

Background

This production factory in the Netherlands handles frequent forklift movement and pedestrian flow within the workshop. Previously, they relied on painted floor lines and adhesive safety stickers to separate forklift routes and pedestrian walkways, mark danger zones and crossing points. Due to heavy pallet traffic, dust, frequent cleaning and mechanical wear, the floor markings faded, got scratched or were covered by goods quickly. Faded markings brought hidden collision risks, and the facility needed to comply with Dutch Arbo workplace safety requirements to clearly separate vehicle and pedestrian traffic zones. Traditional static signage also required repeated repainting and replacement, raising long-term maintenance costs.

Solution

The site selected our industrial LED gobo warning projectors for overhead installation. Projectors are firmly mounted on steel beams and ceiling structures above high-risk areas, projecting crisp safety warning graphics directly onto the workshop floor. Custom gobos were made for this project, including STOP signs, forklift warning symbols, pedestrian crossing marks, hazard boundary lines and no-entry zone markings. The projection size, angle and brightness are adjustable to adapt to different mounting heights and indoor lighting conditions. With an IP65 dustproof housing, the projectors are stable and fit the dusty workshop environment. Warning patterns can be updated anytime by swapping gobos, without grinding, repainting or sticking new labels on the concrete floor.

Installation Details

  • Mounting position: overhead steel beams & ceiling brackets
  • Power: 230V EU standard power supply
  • Projection surface: concrete workshop floor
  • Installed zones: forklift-pedestrian crossings, machine danger perimeter, loading & unloading area, restricted access zone
  • Compliance: meets EU low-voltage and EMC standards, compatible with Dutch workplace safety management

Outcome & Customer Feedback

After installation, the projected safety warnings stay sharp and highly visible all day, even under normal factory lighting. Forklift drivers and on-site workers can spot the virtual warning zones at a glance. The factory eliminated the recurring cost of floor paint and sticker replacement. Safety supervisors confirmed fewer near-miss incidents between forklifts and pedestrians. The flexible projected marking also brings great convenience when the production layout or traffic route needs adjustment later.

Customer quote: “These gobo warning projections solve our biggest pain point of worn floor signs. The bright, clear warnings help us maintain a safer workplace and satisfy Dutch Arbo safety audits easily.”
