The plant runs 24/7 operations. Traditional painted floor markings and adhesive safety tapes wore off rapidly under heavy forklift traffic, dust, frequent floor washing and cold Canadian winter conditions. Blind corners and crossing points created high collision risks between forklift operators and on-foot workers. Faded static markings could not meet Canadian OHS requirements, and repainting brought repeated downtime and labour costs. Fixed wall signs were often out of sight for approaching operators.

Solution

Our CE-certified, IP65 waterproof industrial gobo projectors were ceiling-mounted above high-risk crossing areas, projecting safety patterns vertically down onto the concrete floor. Custom gobos include STOP signs, forklift crossing warnings, pedestrian-only zones and directional safety arrows. The aluminum housing supports stable operation in a wide temperature range, suitable for Canada’s cold indoor and yard environments. Adjustable focus and mounting brackets allow flexible positioning. The gobos can be replaced quickly if the site safety layout is updated. The whole installation complies with the Canadian Electrical Code and local workplace safety standards.
